Stephanie Borowiec

Stephanie Borowiec

Stephanie has advised business professionals on developing sustainability strategies for over a decade.

“Since I come from a small village in Bavaria with strong family roots, I learned from an early age to trust my intuition and core values when embarking on new ventures. A structured and analytical thinker by nature, I chose to study business management in Germany and abroad, and graduated with a Master’s degree. While the focus of my studies was on economic theories and traditional management approaches, I was always fascinated by the human side of business – the “soft” factors, ethics and social impact.

This fascination led me to London at the end of my studies, where I wrote my dissertation on social entrepreneurship in large corporations. Already at the forefront of sustainability and social responsibility at the time, London proved to be the perfect place for delving deeper into the field. Attending CSR meetings and events, as well as working for NGOs and sustainability consultancies over the years that followed allowed me to build my expertise by working from different angles at the intersection between business and social impact.”

Stephanie`s calm, reliable and diplomatic professionalism has earned her the trust and respect of her clients. All of this, together with her strong intuition and empathic skills, led her to CORE. Being part of such a dedicated team – with strong values yet diverse perspectives, opinions and experiences – that comes together to develop new approaches and impactful solutions for clients, inspires her every day.

For the past eight years, Stephanie has been working as a senior consultant and strategic advisor at Löning – Human Rights & Responsible Business GmbH, where she supported companies on their human rights due diligence processes along their value chains. She enjoys working with companies that want to connect more deeply with the core of their business: putting people and respect for human rights at the heart of their strategies to create resilient business models.
