Engagement

We can plan and facilitate meaningful rightsholder and stakeholder engagement with and for you – at all stages of the human rights due diligence process. This helps you improve decision-making, manage risks more effectively and drive positive societal impact.

Engagement Strategy

Engagement Strategy

Receive a tailored engagement strategy that enables proactive, structured engagement with the right stakeholders, at the right time and in the right way

We build a structured approach to stakeholder engagement at every stage of your due diligence process, from risk analysis and the design of effective measures to grievance mechanisms and remediation.

This includes stakeholder mapping and the development of engagement strategies and formats tailored to the specific context, risks and relationships at play, covering both internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Dialogue

Stakeholder Dialogue

Gain access to meaningful dialogue with a diverse group of stakeholders and rightsholders to inform and improve the effectiveness of your due diligence.

Acting as a bridge and facilitator, we connect you with a diverse set of relevant stakeholders, from trade unions, worker organizations, human rights defenders and civil society to investors, governments and industry associations.

We also provide hands-on support in ensuring relevant stakeholders are consulted in setting up effective grievance mechanisms and remediation measures.

In-Depth Assessment

In-Depth Assessment

Receive in-depth assessments of risks and root causes connected to specific areas of your value chain or regions and recommendations grounded in local engagement.

We conduct direct engagement with rightsholders and local stakeholders to inform in-depth risk and impact assessments, including human rights impact assessments (HRIAs).

We draw on local insights to identify root causes and ensure the findings reflect realities on the ground. We translate these insights into recommendations for appropriate and actionable solutions.

For systemic or industry-wide issues, we engage a broad range of actors to address shared challenges and identify collective solutions.

Engagement in CAHRAs

Engagement in CAHRAs

Receive expert support in conducting stakeholder engagement in conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs), informing responsible operational and sourcing decisions.

Taking a conflict-sensitive approach, we engage with affected stakeholders to understand the heightened human rights risks and dynamics at play in CAHRA contexts.

Where direct engagement with rightsholders is not possible or safe, we draw on our network of on-the-ground experts and engage alternative actors, including diaspora organizations and community representatives, to assess how your business may be linked to conflict and human rights risks and how it can address them.
