Lisa specializes in human rights due diligence, collective leadership and stakeholder engagement.
“I grew up in East Berlin. When the Berlin wall came down, a whole new world opened up for me, one that my family and I began to explore through travel and cooking. But even though the variety of tastes in West Berlin was greater and the shops looked more colorful, the essence of what it means to be human seemed clearly the same wherever I went.
When I spent a year in Argentina as a student, I realized once again that people are people – even if they live a 16-hour flight away in another hemisphere. My genuine interest in people and my ability to bring them together for a common purpose have served me well throughout my life: I have successfully developed sustainability programs for young professionals at the Collective Leadership Institute and gained facilitation expertise through Theme Centered Interaction at the Ruth Cohn Institute.
Before starting CORE, I have helped to establish the management consultancy Löning – Human Rights & Responsible Business in 2015. As a Program Director, I built and led a team of 20+ people and were part of the management board.”
Lisa’s talent is transforming intangible ideas into tangible actions. She likes to focus on finding solutions and encourages others to join her along the way. She finds alignment and builds bridges among people to reach the best outcomes.
Fluent in German, English and Spanish, Lisa holds a degree in Regional Studies of Latin America from the University of Cologne and spent several years living in Argentina, Mexico, and Australia before returning to her native Berlin.
Lisa values authenticity in all aspects of her life and has an entrepreneurial spirit – CORE is the third company she has co-founded.
